Privacy Policy
This policy explains how arbswap.net uses information to create exchanges, process payments, protect order access and respond to enquiries. An ordinary exchange does not require an account, name or telephone number; operational records are still needed to deliver and investigate the transaction.
Information Used to Run an Exchange
The information depends on the action you take. Creating an order, contacting support and responding to a transaction review produce different records.
Order and Communication Records
Order records include the order ID and private access token; selected assets and networks; wallet addresses; amounts, quote mode and charges; transaction hashes; statuses and timestamps. An email address is optional when used for order notifications.
If you contact us, we receive the message, the contact address and the details you submit. A review can require additional explanations or documents relevant to the transaction. Do not include wallet recovery phrases or private keys.
Technical and Security Records
Access and security records can include an IP address, browser information, event time and information about errors or suspicious requests. These records support protected order access, abuse prevention and investigation of service faults.
An address or transaction hash can also identify public blockchain activity. Information visible on a blockchain is not confined to our service records.
Why We Use It and Who Receives It
We use order information to calculate and execute the exchange, detect payments, send the payout and handle exceptions. Communication information lets us provide requested updates and answer an enquiry; necessary review evidence supports risk checks and dispute handling.
Access is limited to staff roles that need the information. Service processors can handle hosting and storage, transactional email, and security or monitoring functions under our instructions. We do not sell order information to advertisers.
Network transactions are submitted to their blockchains, where the relevant public records are available independently of arbswap.net. A wallet or platform you choose as the recipient applies its own data practices. Information can also be disclosed in response to a verified authority request where an applicable requirement calls for it.
How Long Service Records Are Kept
Different records serve different purposes. The standard periods below start from the event named in the table, rather than from your first visit.
| Record | Standard service retention |
|---|---|
| Completed exchange order | 120 days after completion |
| Access and security logs | 21 days after the event |
| Support correspondence | 150 days after the last message |
Records necessary for an open review, dispute or applicable legal hold remain while that reason continues. When the relevant period and any continuing reason end, applicable service records are deleted or anonymized. Deleting a service record does not remove a blockchain transaction.
Cookies, Access Controls and Privacy Requests
Necessary session and security cookies support order access and service protection; saved preferences keep your selected settings. Optional analytics and advertising tools are disabled unless separately introduced with the required consent arrangements.
HTTPS protects connections. Stored service data is encrypted, access is role-restricted, and privileged actions are logged. Keep the private order link secure: possession of that link provides access to its order.
Send a privacy enquiry to [email protected]. We can ask for proportionate evidence linking you to the relevant order before disclosing or changing information; a request does not automatically override an unresolved review or a continuing retention requirement.
The transaction review policy explains when additional evidence may be necessary. Use the contact page for an operational payment question.
