AML and Transaction Review Policy
arbswap.net provides exchanges without mandatory trading-account registration. A transaction can nevertheless require review before conversion, payout or an applicable refund proceeds.
This policy describes that process and the boundaries of the information we may request. No-account access does not exempt an order from risk checks.
When an Order Can Need Review
A review can be triggered by inconsistent payment details, suspected fraud or stolen funds, concerns about the origin of a deposit, or applicable transaction restrictions. We assess the relevant order rather than treating a wallet’s public address as proof of its owner’s identity.
The order can be paused while the issue is investigated. A standard processing target does not establish a deadline for resolving a review.
Information We May Request
The request depends on the concern being examined. We ask for information relevant to explaining the transaction, establishing control or addressing an applicable restriction.
Transaction and Source Evidence
We may request an explanation of the payment, records showing the source of funds or evidence connecting you to the sending address or withdrawal. Provide the records relevant to the order and avoid unrelated personal information.
A transaction hash is useful for locating a transfer, but it does not resolve every question about its origin or ownership. For a Monero payment, wallet-generated payment evidence may be relevant to establishing the particular transfer.
Identity and Protected Submission
Identity evidence may be required where the transaction review calls for it. The compliance team arranges an appropriate protected channel for submitting the requested material.
We never request a wallet recovery phrase, private spend key or other credential that lets us spend your balance. A person asking for these secrets is not following this review process.
What Happens While Review Is Open
Execution and refund handling can remain paused until the necessary checks are complete. Sending additional funds does not clear a review and can create another payment exception.
Keep the order ID available and respond through the assigned compliance channel. If a request is unclear, ask what transaction issue the requested evidence is intended to resolve.
Review Outcomes and Refund Conditions
An order can continue when the relevant concern is resolved, proceed under revised terms you agree to, require further clarification, or be declined. Declining an exchange does not establish that an automatic refund can be issued before outstanding checks are resolved.
An approved refund of an unexecuted deposit follows the original sending asset and the verified refund destination, less its actual network cost and without a separate service penalty. The target is broadcast within 36 hours after approval and address verification, following completion of necessary review. A conversion already executed cannot be reversed as though it had never occurred.
Prohibited Use and Compliance Contact
Do not use arbswap.net for fraud, theft, money laundering, terrorism financing or evasion of applicable restrictions. We can pause or decline service when the relevant checks or restrictions require that outcome.
